Menhirs, 1994 (Manolo Paz, Cambados, 1957)

This is a set of twelve sculptures arranged in a circle, marking the cardinal points. The windows that Paz carved into them dialogue with the landscape and with the tower. Paz's Menhirs have modified the landscape and created their own dynamic between the earth, the sky and the sea, with the Tower of Hercules in the distance.
