Portrait of King Charles III of Spain, 1994 (Pablo Serrano, Crivillén, 1908-1985)
Inspired by the portrait of Charles III painted by Francisco de Goya, this sculpture is a tribute to the king who decided to restore the Tower of Hercules in the 18th century, giving it the appearance which it is known for today. The sculpture is part of the series Divertimentos del Prado, from 1974.
