Sun Chariot, 1994 (Pepe Galán, A Coruña, 1955)

This piece symbolises one of the labours of Hercules. In order to capture Geryon's oxen, the hero had to borrow the chariot in which the sun embarked every night towards the west. The sculpture is made up of three large pieces of steel, very characteristic of Galán's aesthetic.
