Monument to Those Executed by Firing Squad During the Civil War, 2001 (Isaac Díaz Pardo, Compostela 1920-2011)

The strange name of Campo da Rata (Rat Field) where the monument is located seems the most appropriate to designate the space where many citizens were killed during the dictatorship of Francisco Franco. It is a tribute to the victims of the Spanish Civil War and is connected to the former provincial prison, which is also located in the area surrounding the tower.
