For four weeks, 16 restaurants in the city will take part in the first A Coruña's Fish Market Tuna Festival
A Coruña has many treasures that explain the quality of our cuisine and the Fish Market is one of them. Here comes at this time of year the tuna, a product that will be protagonist in the summer menu of A Coruña with the celebration of the first edition of A Coruña's Fish Market Tuna Festival.
The event starts this Saturday, July 15, and will run until August 15. In total, 16 restaurants in the city will participate in this first edition organized by the collective Coruña Cociña and supported by the City of A Coruña through A Coruña Tourist Board. Also collaborating Estrella Galicia and the Fish Market of A Coruña.
It is precisely at the Fish Market where the best products of the Galician sea arrive. Seafood and fish like tuna travel after the early-morning auction to the best restaurants and supply markets in the city such as San Agustin or Plaza de Lugo.
For A Coruña's Fish Market Tuna Festival, in each participating venue there will be a different proposal. With them the cooks will interpret the tuna from our Fish Market in their own versions. People who come to the restaurants can try tapas, rations or dishes that are part of the tasting menu of the locals. In addition, each recipe will be paired with a 1906 beer recommended by Estrella Galicia.
