This unique building, inaugurated in 1989 as the Conference Centre, was renamed the Opera House after the opening of the current conference centre, Palexco.
It is one of the buildings with the largest capacity in the city for staging performances, with more than 1,800 seats.
It is also home to the Galician Symphony Orchestra (OSG), one of the top orchestras in Spain.
