You will always find a clock ready to tell you the time inside the City Hall. This building houses a large and fascinating collection of clocks from England, the Netherlands, France and Spain, ranging from the 18th to the 20th century. Among the clocks you can enjoy an art collection of the highest calibre.

The Mayor's Office, the Council Chamber and the municipal collections are in the main floor of the building, where, in addition to the clocks, you can find an exquisite exhibit of paintings and the historical stamp collection.

The clock collection comes from a donation made by Antonio Ríos Mosquera to the A Coruña City Council, and it is made up of 82 pieces, including table clocks, tall case clocks and small case clocks. There are also particularly noteworthy pieces such as the clock made by Xavier Méndez de Saavedra, parish priest of Ladrido, and works by famous clockmakers such as Julien Le Roy, royal clockmaker for Louis XV.
