Domus

The Domus is an interactive museum dedicated to the human being. The exhibits aim to arouse curiosity - about our senses, genetics, what we are like and the evolution of the human being - through playing and having fun. Both children and adults enjoy the experience of learning by using their senses.

The museum takes us on a journey through more than 150 exhibits where we find, for example, a face made up of more than ten thousand photographs of faces arranged to form Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

The museum has an IMAX theatre, the Leonardo da Vinci room, where you can enjoy scientific films on an 80 m2 screen with 4000 watts of digital quality sound.

The spectacular building is the work of the Japanese architect, Arata Isozaki, recipient of the Pritzker prize for architecture, and Galician architect César Portela. The Domus rises above an old quarry like a sail inflated by the wind.

A bronze Roman soldier stands in front of the Museum, facing the sea. The sculpture, also known as The Warrior, is the work of sculptor Fernando Botero.

You can find more information on opening hours and admission prices on the  Domus  website.
