House of Science

The House of Science is located in Santa Margarita Park. This charming palace hosts astronomy exhibitions, workshops and activities that invite you to unravel the mysteries of science and the skies.

The House of Science was inaugurated in 1985. It was the first of the three science museums in A Coruña. With the motto "please DO touch", it paved the way for the city's interactive museums.

This is a unique space where you can experiment and have fun as you learn about science, physics and astronomy. Different interactive modules await you on each floor, as well as exhibitions and activities with themes such as Newton's Law of Gravity, the Solar System, the Life of Astronauts and Astrophotography. In the central stairwell you will be surprised to find an impressive Foucault pendulum that explains the Earth's rotational movement.

A visit to the dome is also a must. In the darkness of the planetarium, you can observe the stars, constellations and planets in sessions adapted to different age groups.

You can find more information on opening hours and admission prices on the  House of Science  website.
